Where each answer comes from, how often we ask, and why every answer shows how it was collected.

An AI visibility number is only as good as the answers behind it. So we want you to know exactly where ours come from.
We ask every day, on every plan
Each question you track is asked again every day. Answers change from one day to the next, and a weekly sample hides that. Daily checks are part of every paid plan, not an upgrade.
Answers come from each engine’s API where one exists
We never build scraping in-house. ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity are asked through their own APIs. Google AI Overviews and AI Mode come from the real Google results page, collected by a search data provider.
Every answer in Growth Genie is labelled with how it was collected, so you can tell an API answer from the real Google result at a glance.
You choose the engines
Google AI Overviews and AI Mode are always included, on every plan, and do not count against your picks. On top of them you choose one, two or three of ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, depending on your plan. You choose per site, and a change takes effect from the next daily run.
Every brand is checked in the same answer
When an answer comes back, we check it for your brand and for every competitor you track at once. That is why adding competitors does not cost you questions: the comparison comes from the same answer.
Claude: choose the model
Claude answers use Haiku 5.5 by default. You can choose Sonnet 5.5 or Opus 5.5 for your workspace instead. Larger models cost more per answer, so Claude then covers fewer of your questions, and we show you exactly how many before you switch.

Gemini, Copilot and Grok are on the list. We will add each one when there is a reliable way to collect its answers that we are happy to label.
